Brainstorming
is a great way to terrific ideas. It escalates thoughts to full-fledged actions.
But without proper direction, brainstorming is vague. Don't limit yourself when you are brainstorming. You might come up with
some wild ideas that seem like they have no business being on your paper.
Sometimes, those end up being the best ideas you come up with. Keep an open
mind about everything that pops into your head. Make sure you write everything down;
it may make sense to you when you come back to it later. I know from experience that once you start to have a flow of
good ideas, it can become very exciting and it can be hard to take a breath.
I've found that finding a good place to take a break and coming back later
allows me to reorganize my thoughts and come back with stronger ideas. This is where an idea
starts to turn into a plan. Once you have done this, you can begin to take
action and bring your ideas to life.
