Current Web Design Trends

With the advancements in technology, the expectation of people in every aspect of life is getting modified and more creative. But when we talk about websites, and web designing specifically, it’s really a tug of war out there.  The rating of a website is gauged on the parameters that how creative, appealing and responsive the website is. It must be kept attractive, dynamic and completely in perspective to the content and genre of the website. If all the elements are embedded perfectly, the website will be promoted and users will be attracted towards it. The real art in this battle for attention is the placements of art in the structure of the website. As the current trends are shifting to more of classy, colorful and nicely illustrated images, the website which has more dynamic, non-perplexed and creative content will win.

Bridging the Gap

One of the biggest challenges facing the marketing world over the next 10 years will be the increasing importance of the conversation. The Cluetrain Manifesto (Levine, Locke, Searls & Weinberger, 2000) defined markets as conversations between companies and customers — a conversation that has since expanded between customers.  There is always someone a “step ahead” of you, and easy access to other user experiences and long-term opinions affects the assumptions of loyalty.  Both of these trends provide significant opportunities for marketers, and brand experience holds the key to maximizing the opportunities. As competition is getting tougher and tougher, marketers have to deliver exceptional customer services because in the long run, customer may not remember the product, but the services delivered in a proactive manner are always remembered. This milestone can only be achieved by bridging the gap between the company and the customers.

Future is digital

With the revolution of social media, there is a huge potential that a great number of captive audience’s “likes” can be transformed into “sales”. In this era of digital marketing, it’s a great opportunity for the companies who wants to build their brands and turn key group of people into paying customers. Facebook what was since inception just a casual meeting place, and was generally considered a “Time pass”, is now turning out to be a necessity, and business’s next field of interest for the promotion of their brands and ideas. But one fact remains constant that the relevant brand will always win and will be chosen more frequently, will be given attention and recommended to others, yet in this digital age, what is relevant today, may not be relevant tomorrow and the better the brand positioning, the better the brand will be. In this industry where variance is unpredictable, the brands which are going digital, have more survivability as the future is digital.

An Extra Mile

The concept of what we have today regarding brands was totally different back in the day. Brand was derived from the word Brandr, and it was used to identify the owners of livestocks by marking their trademarks on the skins of their livestocks. According to American Marketing Association, any name, sign, logo or design is a brand, so whenever a marketer creates a name sign, logo or design, he/she has created a brand. Today’s brands are all about upheaval and uncertainty. Today most brands of the world are famous, not only what they offer, but what people actually believe and perceive about that brand, and that’s primarily because of the emotional attachment, people have with those brands along with the nostalgic effect. Today’s brands evoke emotions, they are familiar with their consumers, more closer than ever, they listen to them and act accordingly and they do not compromise on risking the relationship between them and their consumers. And all it takes for the brands to achieve this status is just by going “An Extra Mile”.

Brainstorming is essential

Brainstorming is a great way to terrific ideas. It escalates thoughts to full-fledged actions. But without proper direction, brainstorming is vague. Don't limit yourself when you are brainstorming. You might come up with some wild ideas that seem like they have no business being on your paper. Sometimes, those end up being the best ideas you come up with. Keep an open mind about everything that pops into your head. Make sure you write everything down; it may make sense to you when you come back to it later. I know from experience that once you start to have a flow of good ideas, it can become very exciting and it can be hard to take a breath. I've found that finding a good place to take a break and coming back later allows me to reorganize my thoughts and come back with stronger ideas. This is where an idea starts to turn into a plan. Once you have done this, you can begin to take action and bring your ideas to life.
